Below are our the terms and conditions and by placing an order with BV Outdoor Essentials Ltd. you, the customer, agree to said terms and conditions:
Internet Order Processing
Any Internet orders are subject to credit card verification and we require that both the billing address and the card verification code match with your card/billing information.
We reserve the right to contact you directly by phone should there be any questions regarding address or CVV verification and we reserve the right to cancel your order if we cannot reach you by the end of the next business day after you place your order.
All online orders are processed in 1 - 3 days, this processing time does not include shipping days.
All orders are subject to availability and limited to stock on hand.
We make every effort to fill orders completely, but all orders are subject to final inventory availibility/verification at the time we process the order in-store.
Should we be unable to fill your order or provide an acceptable substitute, the full transaction amount is voided.
Refund and Exchange Policy
We offer full refunds within 14 days of when the product is delivered to you. Please note that you must contact us prior to returning a product and return shipping charges are your responsibility.
Between 15 days and up to 30 days after delivery products may be exchanged or returned for store credit.
Any refunds or exchanges after 30 days are entirely at our discression.
Only product which is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging maybe returned for any reason. Refunds for any product which is missing its package or has damaged packaging is at our discression and maybe subject to a restocking fee.
Sale/clearance items which are discounted 30% or more are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Many of our products come with a limited or lifetime manufacturer's warranty. Please note that this is a "manufacturers'" warranty and typically applies to faulty workmanship or materials and not to damage caused by inappropriate or careless use of the product.
If you have a product you feel qualifies for repair or replacement under this warranty you can contact the manufacturer directly to make arrangements or contact us by phone or email to discuss your options.
We do not exchange or offer refunds for product which was damaged in any way during use and can only facilitate between you and the manufacturer during the warranty process.
Please note that warranties on hiking boots such as Meindl and Hanwag cover only the intended purpose for which the boot was made, hiking, backpacking, hunting etc. If the boots are used for work purposes especially fire fighting, tree planting or where the boot is subjected to oil or solvents the manufacturer's warranty does not apply and any repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
Footwear is subject to a lot of wear and tear, after all, you walk in your boots all day long, they get banged and scraped and twisted and it is important you buy the correct type of boot for your activity. If you hunt or hike in the rocks at high elevations and are often off-trail then you need a boot for this purpose and while a lighter hiking boot may feel more comfortable, it will not take this type of abuse. For fire fighting we recommend a double or triple stitched full leather boot which is not constructed with a sole that is glued on and a rubber rand as this is where the boot will fail. A traditionally made stitched boot will be heavier and take longer to break in and it is still not specifically made for fighting forest fires, but it will stand up a lot better to heat and heavy use.
Shipping and In-Store Pickup Policy
For free "in-store" pickup orders, you must plan to pick your order up at our store located at 1115 Main Street Smithers British Columbia V0J 2N0 Canada during regular store hours (click here for hours and directions).
Pick-up after hours is possible, but you must call to make arrangements.
If you select free in-store pick-up during check-out and then require your order to be shipped you must call us to discuss shipping options and costs.
We arrange, on your behalf and responsibility, shipment with Canada Post. Orders are shipped by Expedited Parcel and you will receive an email with a tracking number.
If you wish your order to be shipped by courier or require a rush delivery you must specify "Special Delivery Request" during checkout and then contact us within 24 hours to make the arrangements.
Ammunition, reloading primers and powder are considered dangerous goods and can only be shipped inside Canada by Loomis Express; please call us first for a freight quote before ordering.
Firearms sales are subject to verification of your canadian "Possession and Acquisition" licence (PAL) and we cannot export firearms.
Insurance is available for an additional charge.
We offer a "Comments or requirements" notation if you would like a specific delivery date. We will make every attempt to meet your request.
All orders shipped outside of British Columbia and within Canada are subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax only.
All orders shipped outside of Canada are not subject to any canadian taxes. Any brokerage, custom or import fees/taxes charged upon delivery are your responsibility.
All in-store pick-ups are subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax and 7% British Columbia Provincial Sales Tax.
BV Outdoor Essentials ltd. requires that each order contain the correct name, billing address, CVC code and postal/zip code for the credit card used. If the information you provide is not an exact match, we will not process your order and accept no liability regarding your order or timeliness of delivery.

Gift cards are sold in-store and on our website at any value you choose.
The value of the card may be used to purchase goods with the exception of other cards, hunting licences or courses.
The gift card may not be redeemed for cash and the unused value remains on the card.
BV Outdoor Essentials Ltd. is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards or any unauthorized use.
BV Outdoor Essentials Ltd. respects our customers' privacy. Our customer database and mailing list is confidential and will not be disclosed to any other entity.
We use a subscription based service for our newsletters and you have full control over your subscription preferences.
Shopping with BV Outdoor Essentials Ltd. is SAFE. We use the latest encryption technology to protect your credit card information.
